Songs and Sketches from Holderness, Hull and the Humber

Welcome to our latest production called Time & Tide.

We are once again working in collaboration with Hull Community Theatre in creating a series of shows that will be free to attend. We are especially pleased to have received a grant of £1,000 from Hull Maritime as part of their Community Award Scheme. This is allowing us to stage additional shows and events. We hope to draw on stories we have been gathering from local people based on their own reminiscences and some of these will be woven into the shows. The show covers Maritime history in the area from 1300ad up until 1970 and covers a wide variety of historical stories. We also feature memories gathered from local people we have worked with in local workshops.

All shows will be free to attend!

So far, we have previewed the show at St Cuthbert’s Church in Hull and also at Rooted. Both performances have been very well attended and extremely well received. You can see photographs of the performances below:
